MARKETING COORDINATOR

Will report to the Marketing Manager


$45-$55K


Our Downtown Clients marketing department is integrated across all their offices and is responsible for marketing, public relations and business development ideas, strategies, plans, implementations, tracking and reporting. Our CMO is at the table on management and strategic committees. You will be plugged into a company-wide strategy and have the opportunity to lead innovative and client-focused local and company-wide initiatives in a progressive, tam-based environment.


Our client is looking for someone who:

· Can think big and still be willing to roll up their sleeves and do the day to day tasks with excellence

· Wants to make a contribution and spend at least 3 years with the organization



Skills & Qualifications:


· Undergraduate business degree with marketing background (similar background and/or comparable experience will also be considered)

· 2-4 years marketing experience in professional services

· Borad level of skills across marketing, public relations and business development areas

· Advanced event planning and implementation experience

· Social media savvy

· Advanced MS Office software proficiency and client database experience

· Practical and creative brand king/queen





General Responsibilities:


· Responsible for marketing operations in the Edmonton and Yellowknife offices

-Creating, planning, coordinating, analyzing and reporting on events and seminars

-Strategy, creation and production of marketing materials for the office as needed, including C.V.’s practice, firm and online descriptions, RFP’s, newsletters, brochures, ads coordinating with graphics suppliers as required

-Coordinating client and staff contact information with the Marketing and Database Assistant in CRM database

-Inventory tracking and providing promotional materials to clients and staff

-Working with staff to produce PowerPoint presentations for clients and staff
-Timely and accurate Edmonton and Yellowknife information published on internet and intrane-Manage and maintain scheduling of all digital content on website-Manage staff bio’s in database and online including: articles published, recent cases, upcoming presentations, etc

· Participation in practice and office strategic planning and implementation

· Provide support to staff at conferences and other client events
-Coordinate ticket and seating at firm sponsored tables

· Liaise with the firm vendors (ad agency, PR agency, printer and promotional products)
-Coordinate annual media plan and advertising schedule for Edmonton and Yellowknife
-Assist PR agency with media requests and spokespeople-Assist with the creation, production, publication of content

· Occasional overtime to be arranged and paid in accordance with firm policies

· Occasional travel to Calgary and/or Yellowknife offices for meetings and/or events

· Report status and progress of initiatives at department meetings

· Responsible for marketing budgets and invoices for Edmonton and Yellowknife

· Be a brand champion and maintain brand standards

· Ownership of company-wide marketing area(s) TBD

· Other ad hoc duties as assigned for marketing budgets and invoices for Edmonton and Yellowknife
